Fat Dissolving Injections are incredible compounds that work to break down the membranes of fat cells beneath the skin which are typically resistant to exercise. 

Commonly used to treat submental fat (double chin) and pockets of fat around the abdomen/tummy area, Fat-Dissolving Injections can yield permanent results with a course of regular treatment. 

The procedure is generally not uncomfortable, and most patients report discomfort levels of 1-3 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being severe). After dissolution of the targeted fat cells, the body expels the fatty acids naturally through the urine. 

Following treatment, you may experience swelling and redness in the area where the fat has been dissolved for a few weeks. This starts to settle after a few days and is normally gone in 3-4 weeks. You may have some discomfort, but this is not usually severe. A little bruising is expected. You should not exercise for 5 days and some patients find mild compression clothing helps for non-facial treatment areas. You must increase water intake and a low-fat diet can help to increase the effectiveness.

The number of treatments required varies depending on the thickness of fat to be removed. From as little as 1 or possibly 2 treatments required up to 8, repeat treatments. 

Fat-dissolving injections are an excellent non-surgical alternative for people who maintain a healthy diet and exercise regime but are struggling to tone some areas of the body.
